Elpitiya Lifestyle Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd. (ELS) is a Board of Investment (BOI) ?Sri Lanka registered, joint venture with Lifestyle Solutions of USA, aiming to manufacture furniture components for the export market as per clients?requirements. It mainly produces Boron Pressure Treated (180 psi), Kiln Dried, Plain Sawn & Cut to size Rubber Timber components for clients to be used for furniture manufacturing. The factory is located in Deviturai Estate, Ethkandura, Elpitiya.

As a BOI approved venture ELS started its operation in 2005. Since then it has been successful in the export market and, with the expansion of the factory Elpitiya Lifestyle Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd. moved to cater the Sri Lankan market as well, mainly by supplying Brush Handles, Off-Cut Timber for Wooden Toys Manufacturing industry, and also Wooden Pallets for the exporters in Sri Lanka. ELS recently started manufacturing basic House Hold Furniture and carrying out R & D for making Sawdust Briquettes.

Being a leading large scale treated timber factory in Sri Lanka, ELS obtained the ISPM 15 Certification (International Standards for Phytosanitary Measures) in 2008, which is a prime requirement for export markets especially for USA, UK, Australia, Japan & several other countries.

With the development of the export industry in Sri Lanka, the demand for wooden pallets has been increasing rapidly during last few years. Maintaining high quality standards was lacking in most of the small scale pallet producers. However Elpitiya Lifestyle Solutions has been maintaining high quality products standards at a very competitive market price.
