We would like to present company TRANSPEDLAS Sp. z o.o. which is one unit of Lasy Państwowe S.A.

Transpedlas Sp. zo.o. has 5 units placed of the Mazurkas province in Poland. The company headquarter and the Company抯 Office are situated in Olsztynek.

The Company抯 organizational structure resembles a holding. The units possess large independence in terms of sizes and profile of production and sales, price setting and client servicing. All the units run their own accounting and function by right of self-financing and self-dependence.

The Office of the Company supervises and co-ordinates activities of all the units. It services both foreign clients and big domestic customers. Each year the company strengthens its position on the Polish timber market. Our investments aim at developing a modern sawmills company. The range of advanced products increases. There is a growing potential for satisfying more and more sophisticated needs of our customers. Modern equipment and machinery in the field of deeper wood processing allow us to widen the choice of products and the quality is continuously improving. Thus the circle of clients increases every year.

The Company offers both softwood and hardwood products. In the field of softwood the company offers:
- edged and non-edged timber, fresh, dried, planed and treated, mostly in pine and in small quantities in spruce,
- elements for roof constructing and house constructing, dried, planed and treated,
- planed floor boards, wainscot, finishing slats,
- elements of small architecture so-called garden programme (fences, gates, pergolas, flower pots, dais, pavements).

The main raw material ?constituting about 80 percent of the production ?is pine. 20 per cent of the processed raw material consist of spruce and fir.

In terms of hardwood the Company manufactures:
- non-edged timber, fresh, dried, steamed,
- strips,
- furniture elements,
- glued elements,
- beech and oak parquet.
