RUBBER WOOD PRODUCTS (HK) LTD. is a subsidiary company of RUBBER WOOD PRODUCTS SDN. BHD. Malaysia. The Hong Kong branch is in charge of its marketing activities for the Asia Pacific region, Europe and USA. RUBBER WOOD PRODUCTS SDN BHD., is situated in the Province of Wellesley, Penang, Malaysia. We are about 45 kilometers away from the port of Penang. The strategic infrastructure of North-South Expressway and East-West Expressway has facilitated prompt delivery of containers to various primary ports in the Peninsula of Malaysia.
RUBBER WOOD PRODUCTS SDN BHD., began production in 1983. We have obtained licensing from the Malaysia Timber Industry Board as one of the government registered rubber wood exporters. We have a long history of proven track records with business associates from China, Taiwan, Vietnam and Belgium.
We have a production capacity of 30,000 tonnes (42,480 cubic meters) annually and our factory premises occupied 4.8 hectors of land and we have 50 employees working in the premises. The forecasted annual growth for year 2003 is 20% over the total production. In the first quarter of 2002, we have successfully acquired new production line from our neighboring Thailand to cope with the vase expansion in demand for these eco-friendly wood source. This new production line yield approximately 1000 cubic meters monthly.
As we placed great emphasis on the quality of our output, we employed upscale advance kiln dried method for treating raw rubber wood. With the total of 25 kiln rooms in the factory premises that operate round the clock, we use government recommended chemical compounds and approved methods for our rubber wood treatment.
We produce ˉGrade A*ˇ quality rubber wood sawn timber from Malaysia and ˉGrade AB*ˇ from Thailand. The exported rubber wood will be bundled up with metal strap and wrap in plastic wrapper to ensure freshness. The length in each bundle is carefully controlled and it is packed for easy seaworthy transportation.
For as long as 19th years in the rubber wood business, our company policy is to ensure good quality and prompt delivery. We produce the sawn timber that you can rely on. Most of our rubber wood are being processed into house hold items, furniture and flooring.
