I am an independent PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST and supplier of all TIMBER PRODUCTS. My association within the lumber industry during the past thirty five years includes extensive technical, practical and marketing experience locally and internationally with an in depth knowledge of the industry, products, sawmilling and manufacturing processes. I have developed, nurtured and maintained a portfolio of loyal suppliers and clients internationally and in Southern Africa. I have been directly involved with the successful procurement and marketing of products from Europe, Latin America, North America, South East Asia , Africa and Europe. The successful marketing and distribution of such products to The Middle East, Far East, Europe, Africa, Australasia and The Indian Ocean Islands.
The products that I specialize in and require additional sources of supply for range from pulp and or sawlogs to finished timber products which includes sawn lumber, exotic hardwoods and softwoods for construction, pallets, packaging and for the manufacturing purposes such as for the of furniture, shop fitting and other value added applications such as moldings or profiles, tongue and groove ceilings, flooring and wall paneling and other value added products, namely solid and engineered doors and ply products.
HARDWOODS ?I trade and require additional sources of exotic hardwood species in ROUND SAW LOG form from The Congo and West Africa, SQUARES and SAWN LUMBER from Africa. We also have access to kiln dried hardwood lumber in commercially available species from South America, South East Asia and North America.
SOFTWOODS (Pine & other softwood species) - Softwood species available from Southern Africa, Latin America, New Zealand, Russia, Latvia and Poland. Species from Southern Africa, namely Southern Yellow Pine, commonly known in Southern Africa as South African Pine, namely ; Pinus Taeda, Pinus Patula, Pinus Elliottii and Pinus Radiata available in dimensions and grades for various applications. Species such as Pine ,Spruce and Larch are available from Russia, Latvia & Poland
VALUE ADDED TIMBER PRODUCTS ?We have access to and require additional sources of supply for solid and engineered softwood and softwood doors, rough sawn and machined tongue & groove flooring, flooring strips and parque flooring available in a number of exotic hardwood species such as Panga Panga, Chanfuti, African Mahogany and Umbila as well as tongue & grooved Eucalyptus Grandis flooring strips. We can also offer laminated pine shelving from Latin America
BOARD PRODUCTS - Plywood, Shutter ply, Shutter board, MDF board, hardboard and particle Board in various forms.
TREATED POLES - Creosote and CCA (Tanalith) pressure treated for :
