Madeireira Rio Claro was founded in 1969 by Mr. J¨²lio Wronski Sobrinho in the District of Rio Claro do Sul, municipality of Mallet/PR, initially with a small sawmill powered by steam locomobile. In 1978 it also started to produce native wood veneers. Plywood production began in 1985, in the city of Rio Azul, in the southern region of the State of Paran¨¢, employing 41 employees at that time. From its foundation until 1998, production was entirely destined for the Internal Market.

As of this year, the company sought new horizons, entering the plywood export market, initially destined for England. Over the years there has been an increase in production destined for foreign countries and currently more than 90% of all production is exported to countries in Europe, USA, Asia, Africa, Middle East, Central America and Mercosur. We also serve the domestic market, acting in the areas of Civil Construction, Furniture Industry, Naval Industry, Road Implements and Stages for Events.


Its plywood production originates from planted pine tree logs, with guaranteed origin from areas that comply with current environmental legislation. Part of its production receives FSC® certification in the Chain of Custody modality. This seal attests to the legal and responsible origin of the raw material.

Madeireira Rio Claro manufactures its products in compliance with national and international quality standards, which guarantees European and American certification of its products. The company's focus is on continuous investment in machinery and equipment, improvement of its products and processes, on the development of its human capital, aiming at optimizing its production capacity, seeking excellence in quality, sustainable growth of its own, of its direct employees and indirect and society as a whole.
