Missouri Walnut Group is made up of 3 companies, each producing one species to focus all of our effort on being the best of the best!
Our Mission
Most lumber companies in the U.S. work with multiple species to spread their risk. Missouri Walnut Group is founded on a simple idea: put all of your effort on one species to be the best producer of that species in the world. This laser focus allows all of our employees to be experts on that species. Missouri Walnut produces only walnut for example. That¡¯s what we do.

This laser focus starts with our vendors. We work with premium vendors who buy the best logs; we have the most advanced equipment and technology for sorting and grading; the best steamers and kilns. And we hire the best operators and graders. Finally, we design our processes to be rigidly followed to ensure outstanding, consistent quality.

We have now successfully developed processes in three companies for the best quality in the world:

- Penn Cherry focuses on cherry
- Indiana WO focuses on white oak
