[Mar 18, 2024]

Interprint is opening a new facility in Turkey to produce its decorative surfaces for that market.

Interprint GmbH, Arnsberg, one of the world's leading manufacturers of decorative surfaces for the wood-based materials, furniture and flooring industries, is expanding its international presence by building its 10th production site in Turkey.

The company said it plans to start construction in April 2024, and production is set to begin in the first quarter of 2026. In the future, customers in Turkey and the Middle East will benefit from an even closer proximity, shorter delivery times and even faster responses to their requirements.

¡°Turkey is one of the most important markets for us. It is therefore logical for us to expand our production there as part of our organic growth strategy,¡± said Jens Bauer, Interprint Group CEO. The Interprint Group, which operates internationally, sees great potential in Turkey and the entire Middle East and will use the new production site to work even more closely with its customers, offer more service, and simply be closer to the local people.

Interprint has chosen the Gebkim industrial estate in Gebze as the location for the new plant. From 2026, Interprint will start with two gravure printing machines, an engraving facility, and a showroom in the 260,000-square-foot space. The company adds that customers will be able to experience Interprint¡¯s new d¨¦cors, life-style worlds and enjoy style advice from the d¨¦cor experts.

Thanks to the new production site, Interprint will be able to reduce delivery times even further, offer larger quantities and respond more quickly to requests for changes in the product range. This will generally improve the service and make it even more customer-centered ¨C according to the motto ¡°Think global, act local.¡±
