At the end of June, the price of spruce logs in Norway almost reached the NOK 1100/m3 mark. At NOK 1,096/m3 (€ 92/m3), Statistics Norway recorded the highest value since records began.

Poland: Softwood log prices above previous year's level
In the second quarter of 2025, softwood log prices in Poland rose significantly compared to the same quarter of the previous year. Compared to the previous quarter, however, a noticeable downward trend can be seen for softwood.

Latvia: Log prices rise
In the second quarter of 2025, the price of coniferous logs in Latvia rose again compared to the previous quarter. The price of hardwood logs has also risen again for the first time after a downward trend lasting almost two years.
