The European Union imported 4,004 thousand m3 of softwood logs from Norway in the first eight months of 2025, up 58% from 2,542 thousand m3 in the same period of 2024, according to Eurostat data. The total value of these imports nearly doubled to €411 million, reflecting both higher volumes and substantial price growth across key markets.
