Arctic Paper today announced a price increase of 8 - 10% for
both uncoated and coated fine papers across the European market.
The price adjustment will be implemented with full effect from
April 1, 2026.
In a press release, the company said, "This increase is driven
by persistently high production costs, subdued market demand in
a highly competitive environment and the resulting unsustainably
low sales prices."
Based in Gothenburg, Sweden, Arctic Paper is one of the leading
producers of high-quality graphical fine paper in Europe and
consists of three paper mills — Kostrzyn nad Odra in Poland; and
Munekdals and Grycksbo in Sweden. The company produces numerous
types of uncoated and coated woodfree paper, as well as
wood-containing uncoated paper.
