Mead Lumber continues to grow its presence in Oklahoma with the
addition of two locations in Guthrie. As of April 1, the company
has acquired OHC Supply and Guthrie’s Ace Hardware from owner
Bill VanSant.
This expansion brings Mead Lumber to 56 locations across nine
states and marks its second and third locations in Oklahoma. The
company’s first Oklahoma location is in Ada.
Both OHC Supply and Guthrie’s Ace Hardware have long served the
Guthrie community and surrounding area. Known for strong
customer relationships and reliable service, these businesses
align closely with Mead Lumber’s focus on supporting
professional contractors, builders, remodelers, and homeowners.
“We are excited to welcome these locations to Mead Lumber,” said
Dave Anderson, President and CEO. “This is an important step in
our continued growth and strengthens our ability to serve
customers in Oklahoma.”
Customers can expect continuity. Bill VanSant will remain
involved, and the current team will continue in their roles.
Day-to-day operations will remain the same, ensuring a smooth
transition for customers and employees.
As a 100% employee-owned company, Mead Lumber is committed to
long-term investment in its people, its customers, and the
communities it serves. The addition of these Guthrie locations
supports that commitment and builds on a strong foundation
already in place.
