
Dunapack Packaging, the corrugated packaging division of the
Prinzhorn Group, has entered into an agreement with Stora Enso
to acquire its German corrugated packaging operations.
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The deal involves Gaster Wellpappe, Wellpappe Sausenheim, and
PTI, including its facilities in Southwestern Germany. Combined,
the operations have about 350 employees and a turnover in 2025
of approximately EUR 74 million.
"The transaction marks a further important step in the growth
strategy of Dunapack Packaging aiming to increase its
geographical footprint and will additionally foster our paper
integration rate within the Group," said Gerald Prinzhorn, CEO
of Prinzhorn Group.
Max Hölbl, Chairman of Dunapack Packaging, added, "We are
excited to serve our existing and new customers with the best of
our proven service quality by benefitting from our integrated
business model with Hamburger Containerboard Division. The
expertise of our new colleagues will be a great addition and we

The transaction is subject to merger clearance with an expected
closing in the course of 2026.
