Ogden & Adams Building Solutions, headquartered in Hiawatha,
Iowa, recently announced plans to acquire the assets of two
other Iowa-based lumber companies: Maquoketa Lumber company (in
Maquoketa) and Bellevue Lumber (based in Bellevue).
“We are excited to welcome the customers and staff of Maquoketa
and Bellevue Lumber to Ogden & Adams” stated Marty Hoeger, owner
of Ogden & Adams. “Both companies place a high value on customer
service and delivering quality products to our customers,” he
added.
Mark Maze owner of both Maquoketa and Bellevue Lumber will
assist with the transition.
“I am proud of our staff and the business we built. The merging
of these two companies will be good for our employees and
customers and I think it is very exciting opportunity,” Maze
said.
Both lumber companies specialize in lumber packages, millwork,
siding, roofing, doors and windows. Ogden & Adams plans to
retain all staff and to continue operations under its current
flagship name Ogden & Adams Building Solutions at the current
Maquoketa and Bellevue Lumber facilities.
“The addition of these great companies and its experienced and
talented staff expands our service offering, our sales footprint
and increases our buying power. The team at both Maquoketa and
Bellevue Lumber brings significant industry experience and
skillset. Together, we are more than 40 employees and have the
capabilities and assets to conduct significantly more business
in Eastern Iowa,” Hoeger said.
