Sappi Europe has announced a price increase of EUR 89 per tonne
across the Paper Board portfolio in response to sustained cost
pressures currently impacting the industry.
According to Sappi Europe, the pricing adjustment will enable
the company to continue providing the high levels of product
quality, service excellence, and supply security that customers
rely on across the company's Paperboard portfolio.
"Despite productivity and efficiency initiatives as well as cost
cutting, market conditions require a Paper Board price
increase," Sappi Europe said in a press release. "Effective for
all new orders and deliveries from 1 November 2026, prices for
Paper Board products will increase by EUR 89 per tonne.
"More details relating to the increase will be communicated
directly by Sappi's sales teams," the company added.
Headquartered in Brussels, Belgium, Sappi Europe is a leading
producer of woodfibre-based products and biobased solutions,
including packaging, graphic, label and speciality papers, with
seven mill operations and 12 sales offices across Europe.
