With sawmills among its first customers, Nordic Quick Systems
has developed technology for replacing worn teeth on sprockets.
The Pite?based company is now being acquired by the Canadian
firm Can-Am Chains, which has customers in more than 40
countries.
The Canadian group Can-Am Chains, which operates globally, has
acquired Nordic Quick Systems AB, an award-winning start-up
specialising in industrial maintenance that has developed its
patented innovation into a product range and exported it to over
ten countries. The acquisition of Nordic Quick Systems
strengthens Can-Am’s presence in the Nordic market and adds
patented technology for the rapid replacement of wear parts to
the group’s global product range, thanks to a combination of
innovation and re-use technology, a comprehensive range of
chains and a global organisation.
Can-Am Chains manufactures and supplies industrial chains and
sprockets for, amongst other things, sawmill machinery. The
acquisition adds patented technology to the Group’s product
range and gives Nordic Quick Systems access to an international
manufacturing and sales organisation, reports Svensk Verkstad.
