Member of the closed corporation. Responsible for operational planning and project finance. Originally from the Mpumalanga lowveld where my family has been involved in the timber industry for generations.

Zaccharia Gilo BSCHONS (OP.M);BCOMHONS (HRD);MSC (PR.M); M.DIP.M (SA); Mkt.M (WITS). Gilo has been active in the Mozambican Government for 15 years with most of this time spent in the Department of Foreign Affairs. Gilo is a well-traveled ex-diplomat and as a result has established key contacts in decision-making capacities in Mozambique and other SADC countries.


The Product:

In terms of wood resources our focus is in the development of 2 areas:

1. Hardwood and exotics out of Mozambique

In Mozambique itself we have in place 2 experienced and reliable suppliers based in Maputo and Beirra respectively. This gives us flexibility in terms sourcing, pricing and shipping.

2. Eucalyptus Pulpwood and Saw logs out of Mpumalanga

Capabilities:

Having established a track record in general exports we have the experience in place to manage complex contracts. Zaccharia Gilo is a Mozambican citizen with residences and administrative capacity both in Mozambique and Johannesburg. We are able to oversee the project delivery and have the hands on, face to face contact to micro-manage whatever concerns may arise.
